Redefining Beauty with IPS e.max Zirconia & IPS e.max Ceram Art
Achieving the ideal balance between strength and aesthetics remains one of the greatest challenges in modern restorative dentistry. As patient expectations continue to rise, clinicians and technicians must deliver restorations that not only look natural but also perform reliably over time.
In this advanced course, Master Dental Technician, Yuki Momma shares his proven approach to creating restorations that integrate seamlessly within the oral environment while maintaining long-term functional stability. Drawing on his extensive international experience, Yuki will demonstrate how to combine precise framework design with refined ceramic techniques to achieve highly aesthetic, predictable results.
Using IPS e.max Zirconia as the structural foundation, participants will explore how ceramic artistry can be developed using IPS e.max Ceram, IPS e.max Ceram Art, and Ivocolor. The course will cover key stages of the restorative workflow, from shade analysis and colour foundation through to layering, internal characterisation, and final surface finishing. This will be demonstrated through the creation of three restorations using IPS e.max Ceram Art: a single central layered crown, a single central stained crown, and a single posterior stained crown, incorporating techniques such as Yuki’s 1-Shot technique.
Through a combination of demonstration and guided insight, delegates will gain practical techniques to improve accuracy in shade reproduction, enhance depth and vitality, and refine surface texture and morphology. Emphasis will be placed on achieving consistency, efficiency, and long-term clinical success.
